Sir Billy Connolly refers to it as "a funny week". But for most people, the Scottish comedian's experiences 11 years ago would be no joking matter.

"On the Monday, I had hearing aids. On the Tuesday, I got pills for heartburn and on the Wednesday, I got news that I had prostate cancer and Parkinson's," says Billy, 81, who has opened up on TV series, In My Own Words.
