SOMETHING STOLEN

Kayleigh Hanrahan, 29, from Wigan, never expected to lose so much on her wedding day...

Scanning the hotel keycard, the prospect of a quiet night in wasn't too bad.

My boyfriend Ashley, now 31, and I had planned a romantic pub meal during our trip to Scotland.

But the pub we had booked for a slap-up meal was filled with rowdy hooligans.

'Shall we go back to the hotel?' Ashley had asked and I didn't mind one bit about ending the night early.

I just loved spending time in his company.

Meeting when I was 18, I was blown away by how kind he was.

All the boys I had dated before had been idiots! back

And now six years down the line, we were still as much in love as when we first met.

Ordering room service food and watching a film, we had a lovely evening.

But it got even better when Ashley got down on one knee...

Yes! I screamed - I was always going to say yes.

A few weeks later, we planned a big engagement party with all the family.

Everyone was over the moon for us-my family loved Ashley.

'Congratulations,' my mum Louise, 51, said as she enveloped us in a huge hug.

In 2017, we started planning our dream day.

Deciding colour schemes and dresses was so exciting.

But not long after we began planning, I discovered that I was pregnant.

We'd better put the brakes on until after the baby is born,' I said.

And in August 2017 we welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Phoebe, now five, to the world.

We were so excited to become parents, and Phoebe completed us.

Later that year, I found out I was pregnant again.

But sadly, our little boy, Finlay, was stillborn in May 2018.

We never forgot our angel baby, and when I discovered I was pregnant again at the end of 2019, we worried that the same thing may happen again.

But baby Ava, now three, was born a happy, healthy, bubbly baby.

Soon after we had Lachlan, now one.
