Think ahead
Plan out all your meals – including snacks – for the week ahead. One study revealed that individuals planning their meals were found to have a healthier, more varied diet and lower levels of obesity**. Then, organise your list in categories according to the layout of your local supermarket. This will reduce the time you spend lost and inadvertently browsing – and sometimes buying – things you don’t need.
