Sip a cup of chamomile

A nightcap is a nice way to relax in the evening, but it’ll increase the odds of snoring. Instead, consider opting for a booze-free beverage. “Avoiding excessive alcohol and avoiding alcohol for at least 3 hours before sleep reduces the risk of snoring,” notes Chelsie Rohrscheib, Ph.D., head sleep expert for the Wesper sleep management app. A better evening sip? Chamomile tea (or a chamomile mocktail!). The relaxing effects help you doze off upto 16 minutes faster, found a study in BMC Complementary Medicine and Therapies.
