Makeup artist Ojas Rajani, in her recent interview with Women Fitness reflects on her long-standing career in the business of beauty and future hair and make-up trends for 2024.

You have worked in the Bollywood industry for more than 25 years as an actress, make-up artist, and hairstylist. How would you describe your journey until now?

I always call myself destiny's child my late mom and dad's blessings from heaven always been my strength and me being a perfectionist by nature and loving what I do made me be who I always wanted to be and God gave me a chance to express my talent into acting as well

You are a qualified CA and a make-up artist. Share the series of events that encouraged you to take up the career of your choice.

Me being a dreamer from childhood and being a total Bollywood queen inspired me to discover my makeup skills in schooling days but again social taboo made it difficult n being a brilliant student I ended up pursuing my dad's I's dream of being a CA but me being a trendy fashionable child never gave up and convinced my parents to send me to the beauty schools of America in Miami to pursue my dream and I made sure I would make them proud in spite of society pressures on them as 27 years ago makeup wasn't considered a respectable profession but I proved the society wrong in every successful venture was a direct slap on people who tried to pull me down and I was totally 100 percent in my work as I thoroughly enjoyed Hair makeup and costume styling and when I started I was wary welcomed to master my art further in Bollywood and fashion and adverting
