MUSLIC APPRECIATES VALUE OF INTERNATIONAL STRIKER

- CHRIS ERRINGTON

BUNDU MUST STAY!

MIRON Muslic believes Plymouth Argyle should 'try everything possible' to keep Mustapha Bundu at the club beyond the end of his current contract this summer.

The Sierra Leone international signed a two-year deal with the Pilgrims when he joined them from Anderlecht in Belgium early in the 2023/24 season. Bundu has really come to the fore since Muslic (pictured) took over as Argyle head coach in January, playing as an out-and-out striker rather than in a wide position or as 'a 10! The 28-year-old has scored a goal in each of the last two Championship matches, and was also on target for Sierra Leone when they beat GuineaBissua 3-1 in a 2026 World Cup qualifier last Thursday.
