Kriya Gangiah To The Rescue

You might know Kriya Gangiah as the presenter of Mela on SABC3 or as anchor for SuperSport. Then, you’ll know that this businesswoman and media personality is beautiful inside and out, and that she loves animals. The best news is she saved me from the shelter – let me tell you how.

Sad and lonely

I honestly don’t remember how I got to the Benoni Animal Rescue Shelter in the first place. I guess I was too young to remember, but there I was – a young, brown male puppy; lonely and very sad. Although I was taken care of every day by the shelter people, I really wanted my own home and my own family, who would play with me, feed me and love me.

Every time new people came to the shelter, I wished that they would take me home with them. The other puppies in the enclosure tried to console me and played with me, but it wasn’t the same.

Then, one day, this beautiful lady came into our enclosure. She was so nice. She picked up each one of us and she was so happy. I could see her smile. But then, she left, and I was lonely once more.
