My partner, Douglas Hibbert. Every morning we work the horses together, pooling ideas and concepts, trying to improve what we do. We are both endlessly fascinated and enthusiastic about training horses… Two brains are better than one.
The biggest mistake I’ve learnt from…
In the past I’ve lost the thread of why I got involved with horses in the first place. I had too many horses to ride and no time to build a relationship with them on the ground as well as in the saddle. Now I deliberately only have a few horses so there is ample time to be involved with every aspect of their lives. I’m interested in their characteristics and behaviours. I love horses, so I want to spend time with them, as well as just riding them.
