“DOING IT FOR DOM” - THURSDAY 5TH DECEMBER 2019
At times life can throw some unwanted curveballs, those unfortunate circumstances are amplified when it’s a child, such is the case of a cool young fella called “Dom” who lives in the small country town of Tokomaru (slightly south of Palmerston North in the north island). Dom was recently diagnosed as having acute lymphocytic leukaemia, so without hesitation his teacher Mel Scott and her partner Justin Ryan set about and threw together (in record time) an afternoon/night hot rod show to help raise much-needed funds for Dom.
