A tribute to our brave men and women …

Lest We Forget

Wow! What a great tribute to the soldiers of Australia and New Zealand who fought for our freedom. The stunning artwork on this Breakout is amazing indeed and this rolling tribute attracts attention wherever it is parked. Much attention. As it should.

Take your time as your eyes drink in the details and reflect on the times that those blokes depicted both lived and died through. And look closely at the exquisite detail in the red poppies, which tradition says represents the blood of fallen soldiers, with more than 60,000 Aussies perishing during WW1 alone. Plus the 160,000 that were recorded officially as wounded.

In recent years many on the left side of politics have tried to play down the heroism of Australia and New Zealand’s sons who travelled half-way across the world to fight for their country.
