Tell us about yourself…
I am Marija Puresic, an architect from Serbia, and I’m currently a senior interior designer at Swiss Bureau Interior Design and Build. This year, I’m celebrating my second year with Swiss Bureau, my third in Dubai, and sixth within the region. 2014 was a major milestone in my life as I moved to a different part of the world and embarked on a new career journey.
… And the company you work for.
Swiss Bureau is a thriving community of creative, experienced professionals ready to challenge interior design norms every day. Bringing our clients’ vision to life is one of our top priorities.
Describe your studio
Vibrant! Swiss Bureau is based in Bay Square on the first floor, which I personally enjoy. Our creative space allows me to feel a closer connection with the outside world.
Catching a glimpse of a bird on the windows or seeing people on breaks in front of the building provides a great sense of community, which significantly inspires my work and truly helps bring my designs to life.
Our teammates are people from all over the world, and they each bring their own unique and colorful energy to the office.
Sharing everyday life and work challenges with them is a precious part of my day.
Are you in the studio or still working from home?
I am working from the office at the moment. The home office was a necessary precaution and a good idea for a while, leading us toward a remarkably productive period.
