Introducing… SALEMAH GABRIEL
This vibrant, naturally gifted artist began her dance career, training in various styles such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary. She grew up dancing in a competitive studio where the value of hard work and discipline were instilled in her at a young age and helped to shape her current work ethic as a performer and as a person. At age 14, Salemah’s family made the decision to relocate to the creatively thriving city of Los Angeles so Salemah could spread her wings. And that she did!
Salemah was quickly embraced by the commercial dance community and began booking various jobs such as Disney’s “Shake It Up” and “Mighty Meds,” in addition to grooving alongside artists Willow Smith and Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori B. She has performed in various national commercials and in productions directed and choreographed by top choreographers. Salemah explored her acting chops as well, taking classes and joining a teen stand-up comedy group. The work paid off when she booked a speaking role on the Mean Girl Episode of ABC Family’s “Don’t Trust the B in Apt 23.” This kind, thoughtful, funny person transformed into the role of a gang member who bullied the main characters on the subway. It was amazing! Good stuff! Who knows, we may see her again on the television someday.
