THE SCENE
Chintu Tyagi (Kartik Aaryan) has travelled with ‘woh’ Tapasya (Ananya Panday) from Lucknow to her hometown Delhi. They both visit a dance club there. His wife, Vedika, played by Bhumi Pednekar, is unaware of his escapade with his girlfriend. Kartik has shaved off his famous moustache in a bid to escape recognition.
The number, Dheeme dheeme, to which they’re dancing is a Tony Kakkar version. Kartik is wooing the pretty Ananya with his impressive moves. Slender and sexy both complement each other in the frame.
Just as choreographer Bosco Martis shouts, “Cut!” the dancers rush to Kartik requesting for selfies. The actor obliges. Bosco declares, “You can give him a ‘pappi’ if the next shot is okayed in one take. Boys as well.” The young dancers burst into laughter. Kartik chips in, “Sir, it’s Pati Patni Aur Woh (PPAW), not Dostana 2.” There’s another round of laughter.
LOVE TALK
As he checks the shot on the monitor, Kartik tells us, “I’m loving all the attention and love. It’s like oxygen. I’ve worked hard for it.” Talking about her experience with Kartik, Ananya adds, “We share a great chemistry. The film has fun moments. We’re extremely good friends. We understand each other. If I go wrong in the shot, he guides me. If he falters, I tell him so.”
