What exactly has it been like for you two, as Dharma debutantes?

Ananya Panday: “I think it’s exactly what I have dreamed of, the way they present their girls, looked after us, with attention to every single detail. I used to watch the Dharma opening insignia, with the chorus humming the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai tune, and now, it makes me feel like crying. It’s just a dream being where I am…”

Tara Sutaria: “This film has been quite a dream not only because it’s Dharma and Karan and Punit Malhotra, but I think we really lucked out with our co-stars, our team; I really couldn’t be happier.”

So this generation is very accustomed to being expressive on camera… Ananya you have 1.4 million followers already on Insta… Tara, you had your first exposure as a video jockey, right? Ananya:

“I feel like Instagram is like a bonus, but sometimes people mistake it for an actual job! They obsess about how many followers they have, what people are commenting – but it’s just that.. like a fringe benefit. It can either be a blessing or a curse, depending on whether you are getting good comments, or getting trolled! I feel you should take it with a pinch of salt. I tend to share a lot of candid stuff on Insta – I feel nowadays people want to see what is for real. If you are fake, people can tell so easily.”
