Following in the footsteps of her husband Wayne, who did I’m A Celeb back in 2016, Frankie Bridge is one of the 10 famous faces to have entered Gwrych Castle this year – and the former pop star is the first to admit she’s terrified! “I’m scared of most things, but I want to push myself and show a side people have not seen before,” she tells us ahead of her stint in North Wales.
Frankie, 32, who rose to fame as part of girlband The Saturdays, is determined not to let her fears get the better of her, though. She wants to make the most of her time away from her husband and two sons, Parker, seven and Carter, six, telling us she loves the idea of forming a “bond” with her fellow contestants.
The star’s also keen to show people that, despite her glamorous appearance and showbiz credentials, she’ll happily get “stuck in” when it comes to camp chores.
Here, the Loose Women panellist, who lives in Surrey with ex-footballer Wayne, 41, their boys and her in-laws, Wendy and Mick, tells us who her dream campmate would be, why she’d love to be Queen of the Castle and how she’ll be the one dishing out the hugs...
Hi, Frankie! What will you be scared of in the castle?
