Nutritionist Saanchi Nayak shows harried parents a colourful way to introduce veggies and more to their children.

Rainbow On My Plate!

Though nutrition for children runs on the same principle as for adults, it is hardly child’s play for parents to successfully introduce fruits and vegetables to their children. They thus become worried and conjure up all possible gimmicks to feed them the essential nutrients. Children can be extremely picky and fussy eaters and thus, feeding them anything “healthy” even in a masked form can be a task for parents. However, a novel but tested technique called ‘Rainbow On My Plate’ will enable children to pick their own nutrients in a colourful manner; encouraging participation, cooperation and responsibility.
