DAYS: LANI AND ELI'S WEDDING SHOCKERS

Lani is shocked when Kristen surprises her on her wedding day. “That’s her girl. That’s her best friend,” says Sal Stowers (Lani). “She’s definitely excited to see Kristen, but at the same time she knows that Kristen is not supposed to be there. She’s putting herself at risk, along with Rachel and Brady. But it’s a special day for Lani, and she wants her best friend to be a part of it. Kristen is able to help Lani get ready. They just share such a sweet moment that any two best friends would want to have before one of their weddings.”

Abe comes over to get Lani, so Kristen sneaks out. “Lani’s very nervous,” reports Stowers. “She’s very afraid that something’s going to go wrong. She’s also dealing with the fear of her pregnancy. There’s so much going through her head. Her dad is just there to reassure her, to let her know that this is her day and it’s going to be great. He’s not going to let anything mess this day up. It’s just that sweet father/ daughter moment of Abe reassuring her and saying, ‘I got you. I got you.’ ”

Lani is concerned about her mother, Tamara, who isn’t feeling well. Things take a dramatic turn when Tamara faints. “Tamara definitely is like, ‘No, nothing is stopping this wedding. You guys are getting married,’ ” explains Stowers. “She pushes for the wedding to be continued because she knows how special this day is for Lani and Eli and everything that they’ve been through. Lani is at first very against it because she wants her mom to be there. She ends up just saying okay and allowing her mom to go back to the hotel and get some rest.”
