Can Nate Be Forgiven?

Lily meets with Devon and they discuss how Mamie is determined to have Nate rejoin Chancellor-Winters. "Mamie believes that bringing Nate back into the fold provides him with an opportunity to mend fences with Lily and Devon," says Executive Producer/Head Writer Josh Griffith. "Mamie understands that he betrayed his cousins but encourages everyone to focus on the future."

Lily wonders out loud if Mamie's grand plan is to get Jill out of C-W. "The irony of Mamie's request to forget about the past is not lost on Devon and Lily, considering Mamie's ongoing feud with Jill," Griffith points out. "However, Lily knows ousting Jill would make her just as disloyal as Nate."

The siblings realize that bringing back Nate means having to forgive him. "This is not an easy decision for Lily and Devon," Griffith notes. "While they are tired of the infighting within the family, they worry that Nate returning to the company would only set themselves up to once again being betrayed by their cousin."
