“Despite the challenge of shooting during Covid, it was still pretty awesome to be around people who I’ve known for so long; I really do think it made me appreciate the experience a whole lot more this time. It felt like coming home again. Playing Stitch was such an important part of my career, and such an exciting part of my life, so to be able to come back was extremely rewarding and I took in every moment of being there a lot more.”
For this encore, Carrigan, who originated the role in 2013 and left four years later, shared scenes with familiar faces and new ones, as well. “Working with Melissa [Ordway, Abby] again was such a breath of fresh air,” he enthuses. “We had a lot of laughs while we were rehearsing. I could still feel the chemistry between her and me, and it was wonderful to hang with her again. It was fun to work with Sharon [Case, Sharon] again and also with Eric [Braeden, Victor], Melody [Thomas Scott, Nikki], Bryton [James, Devon] and Camryn [Grimes, Mariah]. And I had never worked with Cait [Fairbanks, Tessa], who’s such a fantastic actress. And Jordi [Vilasuso] is doing such a fantastic job as Rey.”
