Say Yes To The Dress America
Season 1 Sundays TLC (*135) 19:00
Say Yes To The Dress has be playing matchmaker for tearful brides and their perfect gowns since 2007. But in 2020, they’re trying something a little different. Randy Fenoli, the host and former Fashion Director for Kleinfeld Bridal, has a mammoth task ahead. He’ll be gathering one bride from each of the 50 states of the United States Of America (plus two more: one from Washington DC and one from Puerto Rico to make 52), helping each bride to find her perfect gown, plus getting them all dressed, made-up and ready in time for the season finale (on Sunday 19 April in SA) grand mass wedding in New York’s Central Park. And through all of that, Randy’s priority has been making each bride feel special. How does he do it all?How personal was your experience with each of the 52 brides?
I did meet every single bride and groom that came in and I tried to make them feel like they were the only ones in the room. We had consultants who were helping them choose the dresses and they were in the actual fitting rooms. But I met with and worked with and hugged them and cheered them along.
