What a joy is to connect with Rhonda Saxton. Known for years as DJ Squirt, and her work with The Nerve DJs, she’s taken the world by storm all over again with her latest venture, Urban City Radio Station. It’s no question that many counted her out, given her lengthy hiatus from the limelight. For her own reasons, those which are discussed in our exclusive, Squirt, as she is affectionately called, chose to drop it all and lead a “regular life”, building a career in computer programming. Even she didn’t know it would lead her back to her true love of music. Life has led her down a trail of familiarity in ups and downs, and the average person would have succumbed.
Squirt, as you’ll learn through our feature, is not the type to let anything stop her. Her grind is through the roof, and she wants you to know it. Her foray back into music, although inevitably, came at a time when it was least expected. A layoff will do that to you. The uncertainty in losing a job, one you’ve had for years, can be daunting to the strongest. While definitely shook, she didn’t let it throw her down for the count. A conversation with the very man she credits as her best friend; her “daddy”, was all it took for her to take the leap. Her relationship with her father is just that deep, and he validated what was really in her heart. That; my friends, was the birthing of Urban City Radio Station.

BAZ Brothers Production
It's always a good time when we catch up with The Baz Brothers. They’ve quickly become Atlanta’s go-to production company for some of the best stage plays and original stories.
Meelah Williams The Strength Of Love
It’s so wonderful to reconnect with Meelah Williams. As most know, Williams has been venturing into the world of acting over the past few years, and she’s now taking a lead in The Baz Brothers production, Strength of Love. It’s an amazing story of love, forgiveness, and all the craziness that can happen in between. Strength of Love will be showing Valentine’s weekend in Griffin, GA.
