Josie Werner couldn’t be any more different from George Goldfeder. But when the dancer first laid eyes on the nerdy Dungeons and Dragons player on Beauty and the Geek, she was instantly smitten. “I had my eye on George from the start,” the 21-year-old Sydneysider tells WHO.
While the vivacious uni student signed on to the show to teach the less confident guys all her dating tricks, it was Werner who ended up being a bundle of nerves. During a date with Goldfeder, 27, she was unable to make the first move. “I had butterflies in my stomach and was a complete mess,” Werner says. “I wanted to kiss him but missed all the signals. It’s fair to say there was definitely chemistry between us from day one.”
What made you sign up for the show?
WERNER After the past year, I wanted to do something that was crazy. I’m also a tomboy and wanted to show that beauty can be many things.
GOLDFEDER I wanted more confidence and to learn how to approach girls.
