New Year's resolutions are great, but when it comes to finances, going at it with willpower alone might not get you far. Money educator Vanessa Stoykov shares how to create a year-long financial plan that will put you on track to achieving your goals.
GETTING STARTED
If you don't know what you are aiming for, you cannot reach it. Start by knowing your basic costs to live each month. If it's more than you earn, then you will need to make some changes.
If you have anything left over after basic costs, you can plan the other things you want in your life and pursue those goals with the confidence they can be funded.
