Bittersweet BABY JOY!

Since losing her Olympic snowboarding partner Alex “Chumpy” Pullin in a tragic accident 15 months ago, Ellidy Pullin (née Vlug) has been through more pain than anyone should have to endure. But the model, 28, finally has a reason to smile again after she welcomed the couple’s daughter on October 25.

‘‘Hello, I had a baby,’’ Ellidy announced her joyous news on Instagram days later, sharing a sweet snap of her newborn. She further revealed she’d paid tribute to the sporting champ by naming their daughter, Minnie Alex Pullin.

The three-time Olympian was killed at the age of 32 during a freak spearfishing accident on Queensland’s Gold Coast on July 8, 2020. It’s believed Alex suffered from a shallow water blackout, which caused him to drown.

Ellidy told Channel Seven’s Spotlight that at the time of the accident, the pair were “happier” than ever.
