She’s become one of the most talked-about – and polarising – women in the world since her relationship with Prince Harry was revealed in 2016. But after officially leaving the royal fold, Meghan Markle is finally ready to share her side of the story.

The Duchess of Sussex, 39, reveals all in a two-hour “intimate chat” with TV powerhouse Oprah Winfrey, which is scheduled to air on US network CBS on March 7.

And in an explosive preview of the interview, which Winfrey, 67, herself shared, Meghan appears to hold nothing back as the TV host declares no subject is “off-limits”. She then asks the former actress, during her time as a royal, “Were you silent, or were you silenced?”

Meghan and Winfrey are also expected to discuss a range of topics, covering everything from her relationship with husband Harry to motherhood and her philanthropy work. The preview also shows Harry, 36, joining his wife as they discuss the pressures they faced in the spotlight and the circumstances that finally drove them to walk away.

But whether the duchess was promoting her former hit show Suits, or writing on her lifestyle blog The Tig, she has always worn her heart on her sleeve and spoken her mind. Ahead of her highly anticipated interview, WHO shares Meghan’s thoughts and feelings, in her own words.
