From 14-year old Payal’s unsuccessful attempt to save the lives of her cousins from drowning due to a cloud burst, which eventually cost her life, to 9-year old Praful Sharma whose presence of mind stopped a bus from falling into a gorge, these children demonstrated bravery, grit, presence of mind and strength of character that most of us fail to display in times of crisis.
