IN BRIEF
The TurnKey Linux project produces a set of pre-integrated appliances to quickly deploy all kinds of popular open-source web apps. All appliances are available in several formats. The bare metal images are available for 64-bit machines only, with experimental support for the Raspberry Pi 4. The memory requirements of the appliance depend on the number of users it needs to support.
Turnkey Linux is a godsend for anyone who has spent hours preparing a server, cobbling together the necessary components to deploy network-accessible software or web apps. The project produces an extensive set of appliances that you can use to roll out a new server application in no time.
The self-contained appliances pack in a fully functional instance of a web app with just enough components of an OS to power that program. Their distro of choice is Debian, and the latest version of the appliances are built around the latest Debian 11 Bullseye release.
