The Raspberry Pi Zero was released to much fanfare in 2015. The original $5 board distilled the Raspberry Pi platform into a board the size of a piece of chewing gum. Since the original board was released, we have seen a few point releases, chiefly the 1.3 that brought the official camera interface. It took six years for a full version update to take place. The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, released in 2021, brought Raspberry Pi 3- level power to the Zero form factor. While many love the Zero form factor, there are times when we need a model B layout. Step forward Wave share and its Zero-to- Pi adaptor. Retailing for around £20, this adaptor promises to restore the model B functionality for those using a Zero 2 W, and only a Zero 2 W. This adaptor is not compatible with any other Zero boards.
