NEEDS 10.2-inch Retina display (2160x1620 pixels), A13 Bionic chip, 64/256GB, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, Lightning port
While it’s not been given the radical makeover afforded the iPad mini (p82) and last year’s iPad Air (MF359), Apple’s most affordable iPad still represents incredible value. That’s because this ninth-generation device now sports Apple’s A13 Bionic chip, instead of last year’s A12 version, plus it now comes with twice as much storage, with the £319 entry-level model packing 64GB of storage compared to last year’s 32GB, and the step-up £459 model getting 256GB. Wi-Fi+Cellular models are also available at £439 (64GB) and £579 (256GB).
