IT ONLY NEEDED ONE BIG PUSH TO somewhat force me to jump down the rabbit hole and explore the unknown. Five years of working as an employee, I got used to moving toward a direction and vision that someone else dictated to me. When I finally decided to take the leap of faith and leave the corporate world, I’ve had the most frightening yet breathtakingly beautiful adventure to date.

The quest started when I was called to move to the island paradise that is Palawan. I studied the risks and opportunities; there wasn’t any assurance of a better and sustainable cash flow. Still, I mustered all my courage and continued my plan to get out of my comfort zone—my dreadful and charming hometown, Manila. I conditioned myself to willfully take on any challenge that comes along the perilous path I plan to chase.
