Conquering Her Dreams!
Still maintaining a childlike enthusiasm in her personality, Riddhi Dogra, a popular name in television circles, puts all her energy in whatever work she takes up. As a result, she has been enjoying her work, without worrying much about appreciation in the form of awards and accolades.

Hailing from the capital of India, Riddhi came to Bombay for pursuing her post graduation, but life had different plans for her. Falling in love with the acting world, Riddhi decided not to return to her hometown, and instead stepped into the glamorous world of television with a strong conviction.

Since the day she started her career as an actor, she hasn’t looked back once, even though she had to battle against all odds, especially in the beginning of her career.

Although she hasn’t yet signed up any Bollywood projects, she is open to the idea of working in films, but won’t give up on television or stop taking up television projects for films. She believes that television has the power to create magic, and she doesn’t want to part with that magic! In addition, television has taught her the nuances of acting, and she conveys her special thanks to her mentor, Waseem Sabir, who made her a bona fide actor.

We enjoy a candid conversation with the charming powerhouse of talent…

Childhood memories are the best memories of life; they can be cherished for a lifetime. What childhood memories do you remember and laugh about it even today?

I was well-mannered and quiet, but a rebel always with a cause with my parents. I was a strong willed, but peace loving kid. Stubborn and opinionated. Wow, I sound full of contradictions! I never had a big group of friends, just a handful of them who are my closest friends till today.

What were your goals, ambitions and dreams as a teenager?
