It’s all about passion. It’s madness. every moment is nail-biting. You stop breathing to just wait for what happens next. Cricket is that one mad game that has Indians go ballistics. There is nothing in front of cricket. It’s in our blood. and almost everyone has an opinion on cricket. Many, of course, have played the game in neighbourhood lanes or streets and even professionally at times. and everyone has a favourite cricketer for his or her own sweet reason. Cricket is not just a game in India, but a passion like no other.
One personality to have carved a name for himself, not just as a fantastic player, but also as an astute coach, is South African cricketer Gary Kirsten. The former South African cricketer is one of the most known and respected names in the cricketing world. Indian cricket fans are especially known to adore him, as he was also the coach for the Indian cricket team that won the 2011 World Cup. He is always looked upon with great respect and admiration.
And he was in Pune to launch his academy, Gary Kirsten Cricket India, for outstanding and talented young Indian cricketers. for this, he had launched a nation-wide talent scout in April-May 2018. regarding this search, Gary gave an official quote, stating, “India has such immense cricketing talent. from every small town to a big city, there are gifted youngsters waiting to be tapped. I have always had a warm, home-like connection with India and feel deeply involved in their cricketing passions. Gary Kirsten Cricket is committed to coaching budding players and even coaches to better their game. and with the kind of talent that India consistently produces, we want to be there to help them attain greater heights.”
