Digestive Rejuvenation!
Citadel|February 2018

Citadel columnist DIVYANSHU KUMAR MISHRA reviews the scrumptious menu at SANTÉ SPA, one of the popular food joints in Pune, serving organic food to the Indian palates.

Digestive Rejuvenation!

Situated at Koregaon Park, Santé Spa was one of the places that stood out as surprisingly awesome post my very first visit to the restaurant. This place has been a superb trending place in Pune for some time now; it speaks for healthy eating, and specialises in serving food made from organic, natural and the freshest ingredients. I was quite sceptical about this place, since they don’t serve non-vegetarian options here, but damn, I was wrong!

‘Santé’, a French word, means healthy, and in Spanish means interesting. At Santé Spa, you get healthy food for the healthy appetite! The peripheral area is lush green, making the place more vibrant. There is indoor seating with coolers and outdoor seating at the deck. Cutlery has been carved out of neem wood, which is known â€‹for its restorative properties, and hence unique and interesting to look out for. You should just relax and indulge your senses in guilt free dining. Santé Spa is a perfectly healthy and interesting place, one just can’t afford to miss it.

Owner Sonal has joined hands with celebrity Chef Shailendra Kekade of Stone Water Grill in curating the menu, making healthy versions of popular global cuisines. I was invited for a specially organised food-tasting session here. I’m glad that I took the dare of visiting and doing a session of food tasting at a restaurant that serves vegetarian options only. You’ll get to know why once you get done reading my review.

Even on a weekday, the place looks fairly packed with clients, giving a fair indication of the level of popularity this place enjoys amongst the patrons!
