Emma Caulton discovers the latest trends at Sovereign Bathrooms
“In our busy lives, the bathroom represents me-time; it’s somewhere to unwind,” says Richard Paul, showroom manager at Sovereign Bathrooms, on Winchester’s Chesil Street. “The bathroom is likely to be the first room you go into in the morning and the last one you leave at night. Creating a room that makes you feel good at the beginning of the day and where you can relax at the end is really important.”
Home owners are certainly more appreciative of the bathroom - perhaps due to our experiences of spas and boutique hotels - and in response the bathroom has evolved. Looking round Sovereign Bathrooms’ showroom there is plenty to inspire. All the best names can be found here – including Graffchromework (the same finish found on Harley-Davidson motorcycles), and Villeroy & Boch, with Sovereign one of only two showrooms in Hampshire displaying its Finian range.
