12 Things To Do This Autumn

1. SAMPLE LOCAL PRODUCE

Support Somerset’s food and drink producers with a visit to one of October’s eat: Festivals. The award-winning, town center-based events have been adapted to ensure that all Coronavirus safety measures are in place. On 3 October it’s eat: Minehead, where food and drink producers from across Exmoor will gather along The Avenue in town for the day. On Saturday 10th, it’s the turn of eat: Nailsea, with the best of Bristol and North Somerset in attendance. Then eat: Burnham on-Sea on Saturday 24 will be eat: Festival’s 50th event and it will be held in the organisers’ home town. It’s the largest eat: Festival in the calendar with a massive 100 food and drink producers filling the town centre. All three events run from 10 am-4 pm.

2. VISIT A MUSEUM

Reopening to visitors in mid-October, the team at Haynes International Motor Museum has been busy behind the scenes creating new exhibitions and a social distancing-friendly museum layout. New exhibitions include an exclusive Williams F1 space featuring some iconic F1 cars, a stunning new Ferrari display and an exhibition dedicated to the man behind the Haynes Manuals, the late John Haynes OBE. There is so much to do and see for both families and car enthusiasts alike. Book tickets in advance via him.co.uk
