Biographical Information:

Soleil Laurent (SL): Born and raised in Long Island, NY. I have a sister, Rebecca, and we are 18 months apart.

Anthony Anderson (AA): Born and raised in the Bronx, NY. I’m one of nineteen children.

Adrian Read (AR): Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in the Bronx, New York City

Ivan Hardy (IH): Born and raised in the Bronx, NY.

How did you become a group:

SL: My father is a musician and introduced me to the love of music. Like any doting daughter, I wanted my father’s attention and so I started to sing. With that, came the love of being on stage. On my 17 birthday, my father gave me my first guitar. I hesitated at first and did not want to play but then I began to fall in love with it. It was an Epiphone Guitar, Red. I started to practice with coaches at 18.

AA: My father introduced and taught me how to play the drums. I started playing drums at the age of 9 years old. After his passing in 1998, I continued to practice and focused on strengthening my ability to play.
