Recently in an interview, Katrina Kaif retorted, “I went to church happily!” in response to rumours making the rounds that she was spotted at Mount Mary Church weeping uncontrollably. Well, that is what an alleged eye witness, a photographer claimed. Her denial has done nothing to stem the buzz about her apparent breakdown and the subsequent assumptions as to how the girl is having a tough time dealing with Ranbir Kapoor’s renewed closeness to Deepika Padukone, his ex-girlfriend and current co-star.
Yes, the rumour came too close on the heels of TAMASHA’s impending release which sees Ranbir pairing up with Deepika, and yes, Kapoor needs a hit badly but all this ‘tamasha’ just to ensure the audience goes to the theatre, suggests the PR machineries are working a wee bit too excitedly. Also since the weeping at Mount Mary’s was soon supplemented by shocking talk suggesting that the couple has broken up and that the lady has even walked out of the much celebrated love-nest, her beau and she shared in a Bandra high-rise, one cannot dust it off without consequence.
