An ER doctor leads a deadly double life by helping people to die…

Angel Of Death

The controversial subject of assisted suicide lies at the heart of this drama that’s been described as a cross between Dexter and Weeds.

The six-part Canadian series follows ER doctor Mary Harris (Caroline Dhavernas), a staunch supporter of the right to die, who runs a secret business illegally helping terminally ill people to end their lives.

With her business partner Des (Richard Short), Mary gives her willing patients a cocktail of drugs in exchange for cash. But the moral implications of her actions soon become clear in the opening episode when Mary’s injection fails to work on an ailing former athlete – and she ends up smothering him with a pillow.
