A brilliant, neurodivergent police archivist takes centre stage in groundbreaking new drama Patience when she forges an unconventional crime-fighting partnership with a seasoned detective.
Set in York, the six-part series features a number of neurodivergent actors, including Ella Maisy Purvis in the title role of Patience Evans, a young autistic woman who works in the criminal-records office.
Patience treasures the structure and routine of her job, but her world is thrown into chaos when DI Bea Metcalf spots her unique and invaluable instincts for puzzle-solving and picking anart crime scenes during an investigation into a mysterious suicide.
