The roller-coaster life and career of heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury.

Fast And Furious

In a career that’s encompassed extreme highs and lows, controversy, mental illness and addiction, British boxer Tyson Fury has certainly lived up to his name.

The self-styled ‘Gypsy King’ rose to the top of his sport in 2015, aged 27, beating the apparently invincible Wladimir Klitschko to become world heavyweight champion.

His life then fell apart, in and out of the ring but, miraculously, he staged a dramatic comeback.

Now what’s next for this most unpredictable of sporting characters?

EARLY AMBITION

This week, the latest chapter in the Fury story unfolds as he takes on undefeated German boxer Tom Schwarz in Nevada (Saturday, BT Sport Box Office), while Channel 5 profiles the fighter in Tyson Fury: Rise and Fall of the Gypsy King.
