Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on swapping breakfast tv to spar in a post-watershed special.
NEW ENTERTAINMENT
Good evening Britain
Thursday, ITV HD, 9.15pm
Many fans of Good Morning Britain tune in as much for the banter between hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid as they do for updates on news, showbiz and current affairs.
The pair bicker about everything, from football (Piers supports Arsenal, Susanna is an avid Crystal Palace fan) to Love Island, which Susanna loves and Piers loathes.
So, imagine how much worse they will be in their new no-holdsbarred show, Good Evening Britain, a one-off special to coincide with England’s World Cup match against Belgium on Thursday.
Here, Piers, 53, and Susanna, 47, reveal what’s in store…
How exciting is it to be moving to a prime-time slot?
Piers I’m very excited about two words… ‘post’ and ‘watershed’!
Susanna I do enough eye-rolling at Piers between 6am and 8.30am, so I can’t imagine how much I’m going to be doing after 9pm. I’ll have to have a special eye roll if there’s any bad language.
