After stepping into the shoes of Ben Miller and Kris Marshall in 2017 as Death in Paradise’s lead detective, Ardal O’Hanlon returns for his final investigations this week before turning in his badge as DI Jack Mooney.
Not that it means the end for BBC1’s ever-popular drama set on the fictional Caribbean island of Saint Marie. The Royle Family star Ralf Little has been announced as O’Hanlon’s successor – but the big question is, will Jack leave Saint Marie alive or dead?
