The course of true love certainly hasn’t run smooth for private investigators Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott since BBC1’s gripping crime drama Strike debuted in 2017.
Based on the novels by JK Rowling, written under her pen name Robert Galbraith, the series has seen the pair try to ignore their powerful chemistry as they’ve investigated a range of gritty cases.

Intrepid Robin (Holliday Grainger) has married childhood sweetheart Matt (Kerr Logan) and dishevelled but shrewd Strike (Tom Burke) has a new girlfriend Lorelei (Natalie Gumede), while his past love Charlotte (Natasha O’Keeffe) also resurfaces. But is there still a glimmer of magnetism between Strike and Robin?
