NEW COMEDY DRAMA
Pretty Hard Cases Wednesday, Alibi HD, 9pm
Adrienne C Moore spent several years behind bars when she played prison inmate Black Cindy in Orange Is the New Black. Now, the actor is on the other side of the law as she takes on the role of Kelly Duff, a streetwise drug-squad detective in new Canadian comedy crime drama Pretty Hard Cases.
Set in Toronto, the 10-part series sees Kelly team up with gunsand-gangs detective Samantha Wazowski, played by Meredith MacNeill, and it isn’t long before the chalk-and-cheese cop partners start driving each other crazy with their very different outlooks on life.
