We headed to sunny Seoul for the ETUDE HOUSE Pink Play Concert as part of the Sweet Dream Tour, and we played our way through kimchi-land, picking up tons of Korean beauty tips and tricks along the way. Here’s what we learned from ETUDE HOUSE global makeup artists, Dave and Daniel Kim!
FOR THOSE WHO ARE NEW TO MAKEUP, WHAT ARE SOME EASY WAYS TO GET STARTED?
Daniel: To me, the most important thing is good skin and well-groomed eyebrows. I use the ETUDE HOUSE AC Clean Up for skincare and put on the Fix & Fix Pore Primer followed by the Real Powder Cushion for a matte powdery effect. I use the Eyebrow Contouring Multi Pencil to change my eyebrow colour for a softer effect.
HOW DO YOU ACHIEVE A SCHOOL APPROPRIATE, NO-MAKEUP LOOK?
Dave: I think not only Korean girls, but everyone in the world wants to have a clear and bright complexion to complete the ‘no makeup’ look. Fix and Fix Primer is a product that helps just that. It tones up your skin and helps makeup last longer. You can skip the cushion foundation if you feel that it looks good enough.
