Apart from an insane side gig on social media, the trend-setting maven has also built herself a rising makeup empire, collaborated with major brands from the likes of shu uemura, ETUDE house and Dior, and boasts glitzy connections up and down the beauty spectrum. To achieve all that by the age of 25 is undeniably an epic feat, and the world’s definitely taking notice. what’s her formula to making it despite going down an unconventional route to success? Start with the foundation
Ditching a sweet office gig to find your calling is a brave move. Just ask Pony, who left her job as a graphic designer to pursue a different kind of artistry. Although her creative journey started in design, she has always been passionate about makeup and credits her mother for leading her to where she is now. “Maybe for others, they might be inspired by a princess in a comic or a movie,” she mused in an interview with Soompi. “but i grew up watching my mother, who was a beautician, put on makeup so my first driving source [for beauty] couldn’t be anyone else but her.” you know what they say: like mother, like daughter!
