Rainforests are lush, fertile, and teeming with life but even this doesn’t guarantee success for animals trying to survive there.

‘Naturally, you’d think this would be the best place to live, but think again,’ says presenter Patrick Aryee in the second episode of his wildlife series. ‘It’s an impenetrable maze of dense vegetation and there are more species per square kilometer than anywhere else on earth.’
