As we enter the new decade of the millennium, the millennials are breaking out of their shells and growing to live as their own person in this world. Growing up and leaving the comfortable nest that they grew up in to make a home of their own. Now, this home needs to be just like this generation is — independent, bold and smart. Keeping all these thoughts in mind, we tried to curate some ideas on how the young minds can decorate the interiors of their lovely adobes and give their homes a soul.

Paint the town blue

The Pantone colour of the year is classic blue and since this generation is all about keeping up with trends, this colour is a must have in their homes. The calm shade of blue is regal and timeless, and can easily be incorporated in your homes as this hue influences everything from upholstery and fabric to furniture and accessories. “Millennials always want to feel connected, therefore the best way to incorporate classic blue into our homes is through small splashes. You can create a small themed corner using the different hues of blue colour like a set of blue vases together on a console or simply adding blue crockery in your kitchen can do the trick,” suggests Nitin Jain, Founder and Managing Director, INV Home.
