I'm Suing My State for a Cleaner Environment

Thinking about the end of the world isn’t something I enjoy, but to keep it real, things are not looking good— eventually, this planet will not be habitable anymore. Seeing the way my state’s government is colluding with the fossil-fuel industry to build new fossil-fuel plants, cutting down our forest, and destroying the habitats of some of the area’s most magical species sickens me. That’s why I, along with 12 other young people, am suing Washington. We believe the government isn’t doing its part to ensure we have clean air and water. The government is destroying the beautiful Pacific Northwest that is my home.
