The probiotics found in kefir help you to keep your gut healthy. We tell you how.
Superfoods have been taking the world by storm over the past few years. The emergence of unheard seeds, grains and oils, is becoming an ‘essential’ part of many Indians diet. Some may say its evolution, while others say it’s a fad. The reality is that some superfoods have always existed and are here to stay. We are just discovering them now.
Kefir is one such superfood, which has been around for over 2,500 years and has only recently gained global popularity. The recent recognition can only be attributed to the highly effective probiotic and nutritional value provided to one’s gut health, which in the recent years has been diminishing across the globe.
